Jaguar Hires Narvaez as Software VP, Eyes Further Expansion

Seismic QC company Jaguar Exploration Inc. announced that Olga Narvaez has joined the firm as VP of the Jaguar Software Division. She will manage the group that creates and implements computer applications supporting the company’s mission of precise quality control of seismic data acquisition. She reports to President and CEO Julio Jimeno.

            “Adding Narvaez to our team stresses how seriously we take our seismic data QC responsibilities to Jaguar customers on three continents,” Jimeno said. “Jaguar’s processes are constantly enhanced with project-related applications. Our project demands are exactly matched by Narvaez’s capabilities, and she will give us even greater reach in terms of new services.”

            Narvaez has spent the past 15 years managing the initiation, planning and execution of projects for operational and commercial oil pipeline applications, including software and engineering, SCADA integration, scheduling and budgeting.

            She holds a BS in Systems Engineering from Autónoma University in Manizales, Colombia, and an MS in Engineering from Los Andes University in Bogotá. Narvaez holds PMP certification from the Project Management Institute and Java certification from Rogers University in Bartlesville, OK. Her previous position was Senior Project Manager at Energy Solutions International.

            Jaguar Exploration focuses on quality control of seismic data acquisition programs for improved data results. Operating worldwide, it delivers project management for marine, transition zone and land seismic survey positioning, project-related HSE auditing and tracking, and the development of critical software to support customer programs.
